mega1
Being as how the formerly "gumption trapped", writer, Mega1, has continued to annoy and irritate, and what's more, upset some people (who shall remain unmentioned); the totally revamped MEGA1! is now ready to entertain with some real deep and (what's mroe) profound stuff. Eventually.
On the other hand, since this condition is pervasive and predictable and contagious, she may just continue to hang around. (Please don't tell her HubPages recovery sponsor about that)
But still, we fervently hope and pray that one day all the imaginative, and generously inspirational stuff I think up will burst out and THEN - I will share it with all of you, practically for free, here on our precious HubPages! And you will NOT consider it a waste of your precious time! no.
I like art. All kinds of art, photos, paintings, mixed media stuff. I make art and apparel of beads, leather, and other stuff. When I am not in the gumption trap I often write poems or fiction but I don't always write fiction, I also have some reviews, some poetry, some advice (!) and some miscellaneous musings here for you to read. I not so recently have become obsessed about stuff and I have always been interested in therapy (I warn you, some nagging involved in all of my advice) People say I am quite opinionated, but I think I'm just verbal. What else? movies, music. I love them!
I just wish I could write all the things that stream through my own imagination, but unfortunately, I cannot find my own imagination because of the unseasonable, unreasonable use of TV to keep me completely oblivious to my own mind. If you notice me ever using my own mind, please, don't annoy me with your petty complaints about it!
My first fiction series is now up to 30 Years Alone - Chapter 14 - Life on the Prairie This is a story about a woman in Kansas in 1960 which turned into a murder mystery. That was a lot of fun, too, until I found so many holes in the story and the ending kept getting more and more predictable so I left everybody hanging. Just abandoned the old b______. Basically, I don't know much more than you do about what will happen next and I was kind of hoping someone would rescue me and tell me how it ended. But, everyone (including me) lost interest or just left. Sigh.
My other fiction story here is in three parts - "Aroused" and is not exactly what the title suggests. It began as humor but got serious, fast.
I like to photograph whatever is going on around me and make short videos of the wildlife around here, like the bobcat that visits sometimes.
My good friend,NamVetRich, has published his hubs about Vietnam and his experiences including letters and photos. Please check them out: Letters from Vietnam.
To sign up for HubPages click here Even if you've never written online before you can also become a hubber! You will get excellent support from the staff, a great forum to communicate with other hubbers (who are very helpful) and a great writing platform with a huge audience. You can write about the topics you love and get paid for ad placement with Adsense earnings. I have been, usually, very happy here!
On Etsy - the site for craftseller's work you will find me as "Adah'sArts" - I would post a link here, but HP doesn't allow that, or at least, I haven't been able to post a link to that url.
Thanks for reading all this! I hope you have fun exploring my work (she actually calls her stuff WORK! :), some of my hubs will let you know more about me. I'll reciprocate and read some of your work/stuff if you comment or follow or let me know who you are so I can.
