I'm a fan for Adam Lambert

I know, I know, it's not the hippest thing in the world to be a fan of Adam Lambert's. I'm one of his old lady fans, too. You know, the grey haired rockers who love his strangeness because it isn't really strange to polish your nails black when some others are tattooing their noses. I am not ashamed to say that as soon as I got the email that his new album was available for listening on ilike - I was on it so fast! And ya know, I don't even say things like "I was on it"! So you can see what's happening here!

But truly, it is not bad! I can see that he appeals to the same wildness that is there in everyone - and yet he is also this nice Jewish boy who sings in the synagogue on holidays! He's got it all! And perhaps he is the new-age Elvis. He might be that. I don't know if I made that up, but it sounds right.

So I just wanted to share this link to the ilike site where you can hear what he's doing. You know how hard it is to review something that you are in love with - objectivity is out of the question. Who cares! Straight or gay, old or young, glam or rock or whatever you want to call it - his sound appeals to the sexy side of you. I'm sure it does.

And I know you all will forgive me for being so gushy and silly about Adam - but maybe its my mid-life crisis finally kicking in - wait! no! it can't be! I'm WAY past middle age! Unless I live to be 140 or so!  It is really ok to get hot flashes even AFTER menopause.  And I bet there are a lot more of us out there ready to admit it!   So admit it - you love him too!
